AGARTALA, Oct 10 (TIWN): North East Diabetes Society held 20th conference on Friday here in Tripura in the presence of DoNER Minister Jitendra Singh. The programme was held at Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhawan, Hall No.2 at 6.30 pm.

Minister Badal Choudhury was also present during the programme. The conference will be held for three-day long and it’s known as the annual conference of North Eastern Diabetes Society or NEDSCON.

It’s to be mentioned here that Minister for DoNER Dr. Jitendra Singh reached here in the state on Friday and met Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar at Secretariat, after that DoNER Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh held a press conference at the Civil Secretariat, and stressed upon the importance of bamboo cultivation in Tripura.

However this scientific Session of the annual conference has began from Oct 9 and will continue till October 10 and 11.
