UDAIPUR, Sep 27 (TIWN): Minister for Home (Fire service) Khagendra Jamatia inaugurated the 37th Fire Service Centre of Tripura on Saturday at Vill-Kushamara, of Kakarabon, under Udaipur Sub-division. Earlier Udaipur had only 1 fire service centre at R. K. Pur area.

The programme held at 4 PM and Tourism Minister Ratan Bhowmik, Director of Fire Service Nepal Das (IG), Gomati Dist. ADM P.L.Chaka, Kakrabon Panchayat Samiti Chairperson Suniti Roy were presented during the programme. It’s to be mentioned that a mass gathering could be followed during the programme.

Reportedly, local people of Kakrabon are very happy after the inauguration of that fire service office. Kakarabon area now can work as the centre for Mirza, Tulamura, Ganga Cherra, Shilghati. So in any case of emergency fire service troop can reach to the spot shortly. Before few months also, 17 shops at there had been burnt due to fire and as Fire Service is so far way from Kakrabon it took huge time to reach there for the workers of Fire Service.  As a result local people were in demand of a new fire service at Kakrabon also.

However, during delivering the speech Minister Khagendra Jamatia said that within next 6 months more 6 fire service offices will be inaugurated and within next 3 years in total 14 fire service offices will be started.
