KAILASAHAR, September 4 (TIWN): It has been more than seven years since the construction of the government quarter complex at Kailshahar Kalipur area is left incomplete in a dilapidated condition.

Although the 80 percent of the work is complete but is left in poor condition after the sudden demise of the head contractor. All types of the unruly work have grown panic among the residents. But nothing frightens them more than iron bar that pop out from different places. Despite being informed of these dangers, all that the authorities have done is conducted surveys and remain silent over the issue.

Government authorities have been reluctant enough to live the building construction incomplete over past 7 years. A good gush of wind is enough to floor the quarter.

The 3 storey building with a capacity of 12 room is left poor condition and the PWD authority is least bothered to take any action to renovate the building.

The localites alleged that over past many years unruly mobs have began their unsocial activities in the building. Taking the advantage of lack of security in the area the goons carries out their unsocial activities and harasses the common public.

Day after day the localites kept on raising the issue to the Kailsahar PWD department but the authority is in long sleeping siesta and is least bothered to take any step for the renovation of the building.
