AGARTALA, September 2 (TIWN): Despite of several initiatives taken to stop illegal entrance of people from Bangladesh, the illegal entry of the immigrants is continuing through the unfenced boarder.

Reportedly, most of the immigrants managed to hop in through the Sabroom Indo-Bangla Border area.

It has been mentioned that the immigrants hop in to Indian border in search of work. Besides, the major causes to migrate in Indian land allegedly are socio-political strife, natural calamities, and poor economic prospects.

However, commonality of language, culture and religion between the two countries emerged as a major challenge in identifying immigrants and making exile extremely difficult.

Besides, the immigrants speak the same language as many Indians, and often have familial connections that make it easy to assimilate with the local population.

To ensure tight security at the border area, the number of BSF has been increased.

Besides, in every check post the BSF are has tightened their vigilance. Still, the issue needs to be resolved soon according to the locals.

Allegedly the locals in the sabroom area fear that they will soon become a minority in their own land.

However, the hoping of immigrants in to the Indian border should be curbed soon.
