Three minor girls went missing, police clueless

AGARTALA, August 28 (TIWN): Even after prolonged 24hours, Bodhjung Nagar Police is yet clueless about the three minor girls after they went missing on August 27.

In a bizarre incident, three minor girls went missing on Thursday went missing after they went to collect stipend from the State Bank of India at Banikya Choumuhani, said sources.

The incident took at R. K Nagar of Rajarban under Bodhjung Nagar Police Station.

The missing minors are identified, Sushmita Bhowmik (13) of 7th standard, Kabita Bhowmik (14) of 8th standard and Moushumi Das (15) of 9th standard. All the three minors are the student of Durga Choudhuri Bari School.

Sushmita Bhowmik and Kabita Bhowmik are siblings where as Moushumi Das is their cousin sister and resident of Nipendra Nagar.

While Officer In-charge Prabat Sill and S.I Shantanu Debbarma was interrogating the case, Lakhan Bhowmik, father of Sushmita and Kabita said that all the three girls went outside the house saying that they are going to collect stipend from the State Bank of India at Banikya Choumuhani on August 27 at around 11 am in the morning.

Narrating the issue, Lakhan said that when the girls were not coming home for long time, the family member registered missing complaints at the Bodhjung Nagar Police Station.

However, tension gripped among the local of the area over the incident.
