AGARTALA, August 27 (TIWN): Tripura has been ashamed on yet another two incident rape and molestation under Khowai District. It’s almost more than 24 hours that the Khowai Police is yet clueless about the accused that has managed to flee from the spot.

According to the Police report, two house wives have been molested in two separate incidents under Khowai District recently and one of them has been rape.

In both cases, the attackers were men from their neighbourhood who were keeping lure eye over the married women.

The incident occurred in different location one at West Shingicherra and the other at Balwabari.

According to the police report, a 36-year man namely Pintu Nath Sharma rapped the wife of Shanjib Goyal when he was not at home.

The accused is also a resident of West Shingicherra and son of Abhinash Nath Sharma.

Police said that when the accused entered in to the room the victim was sleeping with her 6-month old baby at around 12 pm in the afternoon.

According to the victim, her husband was on his work like any other days as he was daily wages labourer under MGNREGA scheme when the incident occurred.

The accused is on absconding. Police is yet clueless about the accused.

However, on yet another incident, again a 2-month pregnant woman has been molested by Pijush Debbarma after she went to collect bamboo shoots at the Balwabari area at 6 am in the morning on August 25.

After the incident the accused managed to flee from the spot.

According to the report, Pijush Debbarma is the son of Usha Ranjan Debbarma. Here on this case also police is clueless about the accused.

However, she was admitted in the Khowai Hospital till Thursday morning.
