AGARTALA, August 25 (TIWN): Altogether nine officers and employees of Tripura State Electric Corporation Limited (TSECL) are engaged with the recently formed Tripura Power Generation Limited (TPGL), according to the official report.
Tripura Power Generation Limited (TPGL) has been formed recently as per the direction of Central Power Act, 2003.
As per the direction of Central Power Act, 2003, the TPGL was formed in view of getting all the existing power plants run smooth.
At present S K Dubey is the advisor of the state owned TPGL Company.
Besides, 9 officers from Tripura State Electricity Corporation Limited (TSECL) were being inducted in the TPGL. The officers and employees comprise of 3 senior managers, namely Subhrasharathi Majumder, Sukanta Datta and Subrata Debnath as the Senior Managers of TPGL.
However, Jonaki Debbarma P.S-3, Dayamihan Reang Assistant Manager (Financa), U.D.C, Tapan Paul, L.D.C, Debashish Majumder, Resham Debbar, peon and Monoj Barman, peon.
According to the official report, the Tripura Power Generation Limited has been just formed. Therefore, the infrastructure is not yet fully constructed.
Interestingly what makes the growth story much interesting is that despite the state is being connected to a total of 722.5 MW of power, the situation has brought no end to the load shedding in the state as a result the people still suffers due to the power crisis.
Despite the Northeastern states of Tripura is being connected with several power projects of the state and the plants from other Northeastern states the power situation has grimed in the state followed by daily load shedding and people has got no respite from it yet today even after the introduction of state’s biggest power plant Palatana installed at Tripura Gomati District.
