UDAIPUR, August 17 (TIWN): Udaipur CJM court on Monday has released a 12-year old boy on bail in allegation of rape of 3 years old child on the grounds of being juvenile.

The accused is identified as Inajamum Hussein, son of Nijamum Hussein resident of Udaipur Jaganath lake area.

Reportedly, in a tragic incident, a 3-year old child was brutally raped by Inajamum who is also the neighbor of the rape victim.  

The accused was arrested and produced before the court and the court has released him on bail.

The incident took place when the mother of the victim left the child in the house of Injamum for few hours and she was out for work as she is a daily wage labourer.

According to police, he took the girl for a walk when their area faced a power cut on Friday.

The girl returned home by herself and was in tears. When her mother realized what had happened, she called the Udaipur women police station.

The three-year-old victim started crying hysterically after which the mother of the victim rushed her to Udaipur district hospital. During the check-up, a doctor realized that the child had been sexually assaulted after which they informed police and registered a case.  

The girl was admitted to a nearby hospital where her condition is said to be stable. Her medical reports have confirmed rape. The 12-year old boy was arrested from the outskirts of the village where he lives.

However, the 3-year old child is further going treatment at Udaipur district hospital.
