AGARTALA, August 17 (TIWN): Students’ Federation of India on Monday placed six charters of demand to the principal of Maharaja Bir Bikram College, demanding to commence the Bio-Science, Psychology, and Geography at the Tripura University.
The SFI members demanded to provide modern and improved examination hall and to construct a science building for the students.
They further demanded to facilitate the students with drinking water in the colleges. They asked to provide sufficient amount of books in the library.
However, they also demanded to complete the work of the new bhavan of the Tripura University as soon as possible.
They placed the demand after moving the across the city from Bir Bikram Memorial College, the SFI placed the demands to the principal of Maharaja Bir Bikram College.
The Students Federation of India (SFI) is a student organisation in India, founded in 1970 by Paritosh Jain,Rishi sen, Yogeshwari. As of 2012, it claims membership strength of nearly 5 million among school and university students.
Students’ federation of India was formed through its First Conference which was held at Thiruvananthapuram between December 27 to 30th in the year 1970.It was formed by Paritosh, Rishi Sen, Yogeshwari.
