AGARTALA, August 7 (TIWN): The GB Bazar business circle on Friday gave deputation to the Executive Officer (North Zone) demanding to AMC north Zone executive officer to re-start the renewal process of trade license of the traders and traders of GB Bazar area as it is most essential in running business.
They further demanded to the Executive officer look into the true perspective of Renewal of drug license, renewal of bank loans, sales tax related issues, settlement of fire insurance claim in applicable cases and in all other legal business affairs as it is quintessential to run business in the area.
However, the members of the GB Bazar business circle committee alleged that members of the committee were not informed of an adverse step being taken. Neither any meeting was done before implementing such adverse decision.
The decision of the authority has simply hampered the business of the area and the traders are in grave stake and they are to face irreparable losses in the business that would force them towards starvation with their family members as most of the families depend on this business, said a member.
Demanding the reason behind on what grounds the AMC has decided to stop the renewal of trade license of the dealers.
However, the business man further alleged that the stopping of renewal of trade license would raise the illegal trade like running of illicit liquor shop depriving all genuine traders maintaining all legal systems.
