SABROOM, August 3(TIWN): Its being about 40 years that power has not reached to Anandopara ADC village area. Truly an age of Golden Era-all the several tall claims made by the ministers turned to vain when such a pathetic scenario comes to our eyes.

Not one or two, for about last 40 years the people of this village are deprived from electricity.

The minister of Tripura doesn’t compromise a single moment   to claim that Tripura is fully developed but the picture of Anandapara shows how much is Tripura developed.

It is further reported that the village people are also deprived from the drinking water facility and also not avail to the electricity facility in the area. “Due to lack of water it becomes impossible for us to cultivate more than one time in a year”, said a villager.

 As a part of drinking water the villagers are dependent on the well water. However, the villagers demanded to avail them will fresh drinking water along with electricity facilities. They mostly focused to avail them with education centre where the children can get the opportunity to study and make themselves literate.

The blackout day started for the families which are continuing till day. Agitated locals performed several demonstrations demanding to renovate the pathetic condition of the area. But till day none of the authorities visited to enquire about the status of the families.

After every request the authorities has assured to recover the situation but till day not a single step has been taken that to repair the electricity of the area.

The prolonged power disruption in this scorching summer season left the families to suffer, making their life tough. The locals alleged that the electricity division has failed to meet their needs. Even after 40 years of time period the electric division has failed to provide electricity connection to the family.

Lack of electricity has worsened the daily life of the Anandopara area. The local demanded to provide the electricity connection as soon as possible

However, in this golden era where the ruling Government has been assuring the public to develop the state, on the other hand families like of Anandapara village area are facing blackout due to the negligence of the Department.
