BELONIA, August 2 (TIWN): The student of Aryya colony HS School and SFI unit has placed deputation to Aryya colony HS School Head master Arun Das demanding to appoint teachers for Biology and Sanskrit within 7 days or else the student will boycott classes in the coming days.

It is to be mention here that it’s being more than 3 years that there is no Sanskrit teacher in the school and no Biology teacher in the school for last 5 days.

All together there are more than 70 students in Biology and about 30 in Sanskrit but there is no teacher in the school.

School is facing an unprecedented shortage of teachers in subjects such as Biology and Sanskrit.

The parents of the students alleged that the students are facing a critical time with lack of teachers in the school. Aryyacolony School is one of the most familiar schools in the area but there is lack of teachers in the school for last 3 years and the authority has not taken any initiative to appoint new teachers.  Although the students have reported the issue to the Headmaster and accordingly the headmaster of the school has also reported the matter to the concerned authority but no action is taken.

To our shock what has come to notice is that though its being 3 years that there is no teacher of Sanskrit in the school, exams are being conducted at regularly and students are also appearing the examination and are scoring in the subject.

As the new academic session was started, the progress of study in schools should be smoother. But it is seen that in the school, after the transfer of one teacher, new teacher is not appointed. This has hampered the studies of the future citizens of the country.

Failing to get any help from the authority, the students of the school along with SFI unit has placed a deputation tom the head master of the school Arun Das to appoint teachers for Biology and Sanskrit within 7 days or else they will hold massive protest and will boycott classes in the coming days.
