AGARTALA, July 19 (TIWN): Hefty financial deprivation by the Left front government since last four Financial Years (FYs), Tripura Government Employees Federation (TGEF) executive committee held a meeting at Congress Bhawan on Sunday.
After Opposition leader Sudip Roy Barman on Friday accusing the Left front government alleged that despite the central government had sanctioned sufficient fund for employees, the Left front government has been depriving the employees and pensioners whereas crores of money showed unspent, TGEF President Santi Ranjan Debnath strongly criticized the wrong policy of the LF government and depriving the employees from their deserving salary years after years.
Speaking at the meeting TGEF President Santi Ranjan Debnath further said that Tripura government employees and the pensioners under Left regime are getting the minimum salary and pensions in the country. The Left front government has been depriving the government employees since decades.
Tripura government announced an additional five percent dearness allowance for its 209,000 employees and pension holders to appease its employees with central pay scales which is not equal to the central pay scale, said Samar Roy TGEF General secretary.
However, the dignitaries at the meeting strongly criticized the unruly attitude of the let front government and raised voice against the corruption of the LF government.
