E-Service starts; Tripura lawyers happy

Agartala, Aug 12 (TIWN) The official website of the High Court of Tripura was unveiled and a Cyber Forensic lab was also inaugurated at the Court premises on last Saturday.
Judge of Supreme Court of India Justice Madan B Lokur, who is also Judge-in-Charge of E-Committee, was the Chief Guest of the prestigious programme and he clicked the mouse to launch the website and the Case Information System (CIS).
This kind of facility is the first in the Country beginning with Tripura. The system will help in speedy disposal of cases and also keep records of easy and arduous cases. In the programme, addressing the crowd at the Judge’s Conference Hall, Justice Lokur said, “This system will bring more transparency, accountability and information access in Courts.”
