AGARTALA, June 12 (TIWN): Chief Minister Manik Sarkar on Thursday in a felicitation programme, organized by SFI in Sukanta Academy, claimed again that the Left front ruled state Tripura is best in all aspects including Education system. This programme was arranged to felicitate the top students of Tripura, who could secure a rank in Madhyamik and H.S. examination in 2015.
Chief Minister while delivering his speech said that of course Tripura’s Education Department is taking care of the whole Education system and doing enough justice to it; that is why such toppers and rank holders are coming out with good percentage of marks.
CM also praised the Left front party’s co-mate SFI, for giving “free coaching” to the students, during the summer season, which is really a praiseworthy step that SFI has taken.
To greet the toppers CM said that in total of 45,000 students from Madhyamik and 25,000 students from class 12 had appeared in the examination. Among them to get a rank is really a huge matter.
CM might have been forgotten that the ADC area and rural areas are suffering from very poor results. Moreover maximum village schools are in deplorable conditions due to the shortage of teachers and infrastructures and it is to be mentioned here that from Angwanwadi center to H.S. schools, all are victims of Education Dept.’s negligence role, especially in rural areas.
By facilitating few toppers and taking their success as his Education Dept.’s credit, CM tried to mention his state as one of the best states of the country.
Moreover, SFI State Committee Secretary Nabarun Deb also did not leave the opportunity to put his points in this regard. He said, “Our state was awarded as the Best State by ‘India Today’ once, so it is the time to take this very position as ‘Best’ in Education sector too.”
It is worthy to mention here that after too much indulgence of political parties in upper classes of school and Govt. Colleges, in the name of Student Federation, the problems of Education system in this state are increasing day by day rather than decreasing.
