KAMALPUR, May 23 (TIWN): The so-called trumpeted transparent state administration virtually collapsed regarding transparency in the SDM’s office, kamalpur. Local people alleged that, the bribery-raj dominated in the office.

For last two-three years, the bribery-raj is dominating in the office of the SDM here at Kamalpur, according to the sources. And seriously, not only in the cases of Tehashil or revenue related matters but in almost all the sectors of public interests like PRTC ( Permanent Resident of Tripura certificate), Income Certificate, Caste Certificate and others the employees are used to demand and accept bribes. In fact, the practice has become quite regular and inevitable.

As a result, commoners are getting into problem for obtaining their documents and rights. At the same time, none of the public has knocked the matter to the SDM in scribes till date. The SDM also remains reluctant to these kinds of problems into his office’s regular dealings. Now, who would remedy the public suffering, becomes the question of time.
