AGARTALA, May 22 (TIWN): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Pradesh Committee on Friday staged a workshop on BJP launched nationwide “Maha Samparka Abhiyan†with an aim to increase our base and make our presence felt in every nook and corner of the country. BJP Central leader and state in-charge Sunil Deodar remained present during the workshop.
According to the BJP leaders this Abhiyan will provide an opportunity to the party to know the issues and aspirations of the masses at the grassroots level. The motive of the programme was also to tell every household in the country the last one year's performance of the Modi government. The policies and initiatives taken by the government would be explained in detail to the people, he added, said BJP state President Sudhindra Das Gupta.
Deodar has urged the party leaders and workers to reach out to all the registered party members through the Maha Sampark Abhiyan. He inspired the members to work hard with sincerity to further strengthen the party organization at booth level. Asserting that BJP can only make India strong, he elaborated the process for carrying out the Maha Sampark Abhiyan at all levels.
Das Gupta also said that the “Maha Samparka Abhiyan” along with other several upcoming campaigns and workshops would help the party here to reach more and people in the state especially in the rural areas of the state. “We have already started drawing a battle line for the 2018 Lok Sabha elections to be held here in Tripura,” Das Gupta said.
The BJP's nationwide 'Maha Sampark Abhiyan', which was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on May 1, also got off the ground in Tripura with several high profiled BJP leaders on Friday attended the workshop and inspired the local BJP leaders to work hard enough.
The BJP leader said the programme besides strengthening the party's base also aims at projecting Modi and his one-year performance.
