KHOWAI, May 16(TIWN): Another tender party reported to have swallowed up more than Rs. 20 lakhs. PWD Executive engineer Pankaj Sutradhar has issued a ‘show cause’ notice to the tenders/contractors namely Badal Ghosh and Shushanta Ghosh.

According to the sources before 7 to 8 months, 2 and half km. road was given under two tenders for repairing. The road was from Ramchandraghat to Ampura. The work was to be completed within the tenure of 2 months. But after 7 to 8 months of passage the condition of the road has not yet been changed.

It has been reported that the tenders didn’t repair the road properly. Few of the wholes on the road were filled anyhow in an unscientific way. As a result the road has again gone back to its previous condition. The local people and the passengers are having problems due to this condition of the road.

Although PWD Executive Engineer Pankaj Sutradhar has given a show cause notice to both of the tenders and has given 3 months of time between which the work has to be completed. Throughout the whole state the local tenders are used to loot the money of the Govt. for personal profits. As a result, common people’s lives are affecting not only here, but many places of the state.
