UDAIPUR, May 15 (TIWN): Rose valley hotel in Udaipur which had been started long before with the tainted chit-fund money collected from common people is now standing uselessly on the side of the road of Matabari, a place which comes under MLA Madhab Saha. All the authorities who were supposed to represent this hotel, now escaped or under CBI investigation. Local people to former agents of Rose valley in Udaipur have no idea what would be its future.

While talking to the few Rose Valley chit fund victims, former agents of Rose valley it was found that, they have already lost the hope of getting their money back. In fact many of the agents also have become a victim of this Rose valley chit fund scam.

This hotel cum restaurant occupied  a large tract of land near Matar Bari, Udaipur.  Building interior  is designed nicely with swimming pool and all other facilities with the hope that politicians like MLA Madhab Saha and Rose Valley scamsters can take dip here. After Rose Valley scam  and arrest of Gautam Kundu, construction stopped and building is abandoned.

Rose valley group chairman Gautam Kundu was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate in Kolkata on March 25 under Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). Even before this Udaipur hotel has become more silent, though earlier few workers, guards was spotted but now no one.

Money from poor people were milked by these Chit fund operators like Rose Valley in collaboration with ruling party bigheads but all wasted in this abandoned hotel
