AGARTALA, May 10 (TIWN): Alongwith the entire nation simultaneously Minister of Labour Sahid Chowdhury on Saturday launches at least three mega social security schemes. The schemes are named as Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana and Atal Pension Yojana.

However it is worthy to mention here that the main programme was held at Kolkata on Saturday evening where Prime Minister Narendra Modi has dedicated the two centrally sponsored insurance and one pension schemes to the entire nation.

Minister Sahid Chowdhury has launched the schemes at Agartala Pragna Bhawan at 5:30 PM.

Chowdhury launching the three PMSBY, PMJJBY, and APY has urged the central govt. to ensure massive drive with the scheme across the nation so that the common mass of the nation are entirely covered under the launched schemes.

He also said, “The future of the schemes is fully dependent on the people who are engaged to the implementation of the schemes.”

However to reach out the social benefits of insurance and pension to the vast section of the society, Govt. of India has envisaged the three products. All the schemes would be operational from June 1, 2015.

Besides, Minister, Chief Secretary of the state Y P Sing  along with UBI Executive Director Sanjay Arya and other dignitaries remained present during the launching programme of the three centrally sponsored schemes at Pragna Bhawan.
