AGARTALA, May 9 (TIWN): The first class magistrate court on Friday has sent three accused persons to 12 days Jail Custody (JC) on Kalpana Das murder case. However bust most interestingly the alleged mastermind of the case expelled CPI-M leader Jiten Das was not produced before the court on Friday due to his illness.However all the three accused persons Satindra Das, Atindra Das and Jiten’s nephew Siddhartha Das will be produced before the court again on May 20.

It is worthy to mention here that alleged mastermind Jiten Das has managed to restrict himself from going to the court on Friday in the name of illness with the police has got no major clues from him yet today. Police has also got no forensic report of the murder case.

But Jiten’s absence at the court on Friday has of course raised a series of questions among the common mass, because the same could be witnessed during the Ganadoot Triple murder case where mastermind Sushil Chowdhury has owned the same strategy like Jiten did to restrict going to the court and lead the case delay from moving forward.

However according to the police source Jiten was admitted to Agartala GBP hospital on Friday, but most interestingly “Blue Eyed” Jiten has now emerged as much cleverer than Sushil Chowdhury, said a highly placed source of police on Friday.

He also said that on Friday police has submitted a report with the court on kalpana Das murder case to restrict granting bail for all the four accused persons.

The source also said, “Jiten on Friday managed himself from not going to the court in the name of illness and has made the police bound to admit him to hospital.”

However the police source also said that the investigating agency is tightly lipped with the Kalpana das murder case and are eyeing forward to crack down the case as early as possible.  

Expelled CPI-M leader Jiten Das’ wife Kalpana Das was found dead on her living room on April 16. Later police on its primary investigation declared it to be a murder incident. Police also recovered two sharp weapons from the backyard of Jiten’s house. However following the murder incident police arrested Jiten das and other three. Currently an investigating agency constituted by the state govt. is investigating the case and are interrogating all the four accused persons.

The alleged mastermind of Kalpana Das murder case Jiten das is currently grilled at Bishalgarh Central Jail.
