AGARTALA, April 21 (TIWN): Tripura Provincial Bank Employees’ Association observed 70th Foundation Day of their national organization All India Bank Employees Association (AIBEA), here on Monday. The celebration of the founding of AIBEA is an all India program which is celebrated by the bank employees all over India.
The bank the employees took a pledge where in the bank employees all over India sought to fight all such policies of the government that seek to inject an element of insecurity in bank jobs and job security.
The employees also pledged to improve the customer service in banks and repulse the anti-labour/anti-poor reforms in banking sector.
Addressing in the programme President of Tripura Provincial Bank Employees’ Association Sukamul Rajban paid tribute to the founding fathers of AIBEA and asked all bank employees to remain dedicated to their banks and promote public interest by their hardwork, honesty and dedication.
All India Bank Employees Association (AIBEA) is the largest and oldest trade union of bank employees
in India. It is one of the premier trade unions in our country.
AIBEA is guided by its twin policies of (a) Progress of the banking industry to enable it to play its due role in national development and (b) Protecting and promoting the interest of the bank employees, he mentioned.
