UDAIPUR, April 17 (TIWN): A car was fallen into a canal at Brahmabari – Chanban road in Udaipur at about 2.00 am Thrusday wee hours(wednesday midnight) as per local people. The driver cum owner of the new Santro car fled away from the spot immediately to escape arrest.
Describing about the accident, local people said at about 2.00 am a brand new Santro car hit an electric pole before it fell into canal.
About five to six persons were on board in the car at the time of accident. They fled with some minor injuries.
Sources said Rakesh Ghosh (28) son of Rabindra Ghosh resident of Dhajanagar Netaji Subhas College was the driver cum owner of the car.
Rakesh Ghosh family also the owner of the renowned sweet shop of Udaipur named “Abhinandan”. No case or arrest has been made in this regard, Police investigation in progress.
