AGARTALA, March 26 (TIWN): Bahujan Samajwadi Party and Sanjukta Janata Dal, on Wednesday organized sit-in –demonstration at Astabal area in protest of the step motherly attitude of the CPIM led State Government. The party had urged the local people of the State to raise slogan against the illegal measures of the Government.

While organizing sit-in- demonstration, Secretary of the Bahujan Samajwadi party, Nakul Das told that, in the recent period the scam in different blocks, Panchayats and official level is raising its alarming height. But the State government takes no interest to take legal steps. Besides that they are busy in neglecting the State employees. At present in every State of India, Central pay scale is given, except in Tripura. If the Central pay scale will be given to the employees, various people should be benefited by this scale. Apart from that, the various vacant posts of the Government is also not fulfilled yet.

Other than that, in various TRTC, Jutemills and other 32 organizations, scam is raising its head. For scheduled caste and Scheduled tribes subplan, crores of rupees are looted. This had affected the SC, ST students to al rage extent that they yet do not get their scholarship. The Party further alleged that the opposition in the state played no role to secure the rights of the people. Besides that they joined hand s with the ruling one. If the principles of a small party become strong, then they will become a better party in future. So, in order to step out the measures taken against the people, everybody should unite together to root out evils.

The demands of the party are:

1.To take action against crime on women.

2.Legal steps to stop corruption in administration.

3.To provide Central Pay scale to the State Government employees.

4.To fill up the vacancy of 45 thousand in different Government offices.

5. To fill up the vacant posts of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.

6.To root out the un-employement system from the State.

7. To exercise the power under the hands of TTAADC etc.
