Udaipur, Khumpuilwang, March 13 (TIWN) : Students of Khumpuilwang High School , killa Block, sat in strike and blocked the road at Khumpuilwang due against of a senior teacher’s transfer whether the school was already in crisis of teachers and the total number of teachers of that school are presently only 8.

Tripura’s lame-duck Education Minister Tapan Chakraborty and his ‘Guru’ cum top-notch self-proclaimed “education expert” CM Manik Sarkar often Lectures school-authority on quality education, moral conducts but due to CPI(M) led Govt’s wrong policies, most of the schools are under staffed which causing havoc in primary education.

Khumpuilwang High  school was demanding more teachers from a long period of time, but they are also losing one after another senior teachers. According to the latest circular of the teachers’ transfer list, maximum village schools have become victim of wrong policy of Govt. Town schools are filling up teacher spots by keeping the village schools blank. Mostly ruling CPM’s nepotism, favors causing teacher transfers to their favourite towns.

As a result, the students of Khumpuilwang High School called this strike and the local authority had to sat with the students to discuss the problem. The students demanded atleast 15 teachers in their school so that the classes can go on smoothly as the schools of the town area.

In 21st Century, who thought of these dark days when CM Manik Sarkar ushered State with his golden rule ?
