UDAIPUR, March 10 (TIWN): The entire Gomati District , especially those living dance and culture , are gearing up with a little girl of merely 7 years old namely Abantika Roy, a student of Class-II reading in Assam Rifles Public School of Udaipur. Abantika is the sole contender from the Gomati District in the Dance Tripura Dance talent hunt contest organized by Air cell .

Apart from being a student of D2Dance Academy, a  Western Dance Academy , Abantika Roy is also a promising star in classical dance in Nritya Academy. 
          Her father Biswajit Roy is the headmaster In charge of Hirapur High School, Udaipur and her mother Anamika Roy is a house wife. After going through the audition round in Air Cel Dance Tripura Dance reality show Abantika is now among the 15 competitors in the state and the only one from Gomati District. 
          Now the elimination rounds d has started from Saturday and every week the followers can watch her perform in Duranta TV and Awaaz TV every Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7.30pm. The best performer will be selected through audiences' voting and for voting only Air Cel services are allowed. The best performer will be awarded with Rs 50000/- in the Grand Finale to be held in Agartala next month. 
     Speaking to TIWN over phone Abantika's father Biswajit Roy said ," We are grateful to all the well wishers of Abantika. Now also we want their support. Nor the viewers can help her reaching the top by giving their votes. To vote simply type DTD and then give space (-) and then type  ABANTIKA from your Air Cel mobile and send it to 51212. Only Air Cel services are allowed for voting. " 
       It is learnt that voting will remain open  every week from Saturday 8pm to Fridayday 8pm. The cultural workers, and the teachers of Abantika's school Assam Rifles Public School, D2Dance Academy  and Nritya Academy appeal all to help Abantika, the talented girl , to make Udaipur and Gomati feel proud. Voting is required after each episode.
