Agartala, Mar 4 (TIWN): Governor PB Acharya and Chief Minister Manik Sarkar extended Holi greetings to the people of state and expressed hope that the festival of colours would usher in a new resolve to forge ahead as a state.
"May this year's festival strengthen fraternal bonds amongst our people and bring peace and prosperity to our nation," Acharya said in his greetings to the people.
The Governor further greeted the people saying that the festival of colours symbolized the multi-hued unity in diversity of our nation. "Holi marks the arrival of spring, a season, when mother nature manifests its beauty and grandeur in a colourful splash all around, rekindling the energy and enthusiasm for life,'' he added.
In his message, Chief Minister Manik Sarkar appealed to the people of state to let the spirit of Holi continue to add colour to our lives and inspire us to shed our differences and work together to multiply happiness and prosperity for all.
