KAMALPUR, March 3 (TIWN): Annapurna Filling Station, the only filling station of Kamalpur subdivision got under a serious allegation of mixing impurities in the fuel. The consumers in general are alleging the authority of mixing kerosene oil in abundance with petrol and diesel.

In 2014 last, the only filling station of the sub-division Annapurna Filling Station was inaugurated at Halhali after much demands from the locale.

Locales were of much hope that, the prolonged sufferings of pouring impure fuel in the tankers of vehicles would end now. But hardly six months passed, had the authority started to run the filling station at their will. Unavailability of fuels became a regular occurrence whenever the price of fuel decreased. Now another serious allegation came out against the authority. Many consumers of the subdivision alleged that, the filling station authority mix impurities like kerosene oil with petrol and diesel to grab more profits.

The allegation seemed more serious as several times, the fuel carrying tankers pass several hours before entering the filling station at Baralutma.  Now, if the authority and the sub-divisional administration would look into the matter or not is to be seen.
