Agartala, February 26 (TIWN): CPI (M) General Secretary Prakash Karat on Thursday urged to make Tripura Role Model in the way of development to save party’s existence. In a press brief, after the inauguration of the State Conference, General Secretary told that movement will be launched against anti CPI (M) party, because they are harming the common people of the State.
Further Mr. Karat informed that the main motive of their strategy is to unite all the CPIM and democratic forces to construct Democratic alliance. Though the alliance takes its shape in West Bengal and Kerela. But still other States are not included in it. This alliance is formed not only for election strategy, but to create a stage for uniting all the CPIM and democratic organizations. However, after the formation of BJP led NDA Government, in the Centre, communal difference libertarian principles had raised its head.
So, in order to curve the communal difference and libertarian principles, Left Front Government is the only alternative. On the basis of limited power, this work will have to be done. In adverse situation, CPIM Party and Government had maintained its position. Few obstacles are there; still they have to sort out.
Speaking about the major highlights, Karat informed that in the 21st State Conference, highlight will be focused on the strategy of the party; movement launched in future perspective, to fight against the challenges. Etc. While CPIM State General Secretary, Bijan Dhar while addressing the media told that, in adverse situation, of the State, CPIM and democratic forces were emerging. The credit fully vested upon the people. In the 2013 Assembly election people had expressed their trust and faith on us, and led a winning victory for CPIM with 52.32 percent vote. In the coming years the principles of the party needs to be get more strengthened.
It is to be mention that on Wednesday the 21st State Conference of the CPIM Party was started. The conference was organized by Comrade Khagen Das, Bajuban Reang, Rama Das, Shahid Chowdhury and Ratan Bhowmik. After inauguration tributes were paid to the departed party leaders. Though nothing had been said about the Land Acquisition Bill.
