Agartala, February 22 (TIWN): First tenure of the 10days budget session of Tripura Legislative Assembly had ended today. The House will again sit on March 3. In the next tenure, Consideration on the bill of “Salaries and allowances Pension and other benefits of MLA’s, Ministers , Speaker and Deputy Speaker , Leader of opposition, Government Chief whip and other members of the Legislative assembly will likely to be passed and some calling attention and reference period notice would be discussed.

 Earlier, : The 10days Budget Session of Tripura Legislative Assembly begins on February 6.Governor P.B. Achariya had  inaugurate the session and deliver His valuable speech. On the other hand, Finance Minister Bhanulal Saha presents the 2015-16 annual budgets on February 10th. In the remaining days, supplementary question – answers was  be discussed. This budget session had raised various important issues which may lead the State Government to fall in back foot. Earlier in the BAC meeting it was decided that two bills – the Tripura Lokayukta amendment Bill and Tripura State Universitywas  placed in the House for approval on February 10. Earlier the state government appointed Pradip Kumar Sarkar, former judge of the Gujarat High Court, as Tripura's Lokayukta during the year 2011 following ascent of the president to the Tripura Lokayukta Act passed by the assembly in 2008. Government officials were not included in the act earlier.
