AGARTALA, February 20 (TIWN): TRTC motor workers union today staged protest regarding their 11 point charter of demands at TRTC office building in Krishnanagar.

 demands are:

1. Implementition pension benefits to the employees of TRTC like as employees of the state government with effect from 19995.

2. Removal of deprivation of promotion to heavy vehicle drivers and other deprived employees.

3. Implementation of central pay scale and grade pay and other benefits to the employees of TRTC.

4. Implementation of New Gratuity Act/benefits to the employees of TRTC from May 2010 (i.e. Rs 10, 00,000).

5. Implementation of Leave-en-cash-ment for TRTC employees like other PSUs.

6. Implementation of group insurance to TRTC.

7. Re-implementaion of medical re imbursement and L.T.C.

8. Re-implementation of die-in-harness policy.

9. Extend TRTC bus services on more routes to facilitate the public of Tripura.

10. Increasement the fleet strength by purchasing new buses and trucks.

11. Re-storation of corruption free and transparent administration in TRTC.

It is to be mentioned here that at least 1200 pensioners of TRTC are deprived from their gratuity money that rests at Rs 2 crore now. It was during the year 2010, when a meeting at the secretariat decided to pay gratuity money to the 1200 pensioners. But now it has been since 5 years that the 1200 pensioners are suffering, whereas according to the sources among those 1200 deprived pensioners some of them had already expired, and on the other the TRTC authority is still playing a role of a silent spectator in regard of paying the pensioners, their gratuity money.  Since the year 2010 the 1200 pensioners had been moving for several movements in demand of their deserved gratuity money, when A.B. Reang was the Managing Director (MD) of TRTC. According to the report the gratuity money rests at Rs. 2 crore that a total of 1200 pensioners are yet to get.

However, but this must be another multi crore scam that added feather to Tripura Corruption with which the Tripura Govt. to come under the limelight of serious scam once again. But what more left with Tripura now to bring the corruptions under control?  When a serial scams and corruptions has gripped the state tight and not taking any name to get free.
