KAMALPUR, FEB. 19, (TIWN): “No political party can achieve advancement without organization. Mere propaganda is not able to capture power. And the organization can be strengthened only when the student wing becomes powerful. But in Tripura, NSUI, the student wing of Congress is lagging far behind from its politically rival SFI. If Congress is to be strengthened in the State, then NSUI should be strengthened. The school units should be reformed with new members. And thus the organization is to be set up up to the State level.” said the speakers in the State Convention of NSUI at Kamalpur today.

NSUI All India President Rozy M. John, Secretary Dipak Negi, TPCC President Birajit Sinha, Pradyot Kishore Debbarman all spoke in the same tune to revive the organization. In fact, after a long time the Congress leaders spoke seriously about organization. The inaugurator of the Convention TCC President Birajit Sinha clearly stressed upon to reform NSUI like the SFI. He also added that without NSUI, Congress can never be strengthened. In today’s convention 400 student-delegates took part from the entire state.
