AGARTALA, February 16 (TIWN): The All India Congress Committee (AICC) general secretary, in charge of Tripura, V.Narayanswamy is scheduled to visit here in Tripura on February 24. However the Pradesh Congress today held a preparatory meeting in wake of his visit. Talking to TIWN PCC President Birajit Sinha said that the party has taken certain meetings to be organised after Narayanswami’s visit in Tripura ahead of TTAADC poll.

 Sinha talking to TIWN mentioned that at present the congress party do not have any planned strategy for the upcoming ADC election, but after Narayanswami visits state the party will organise a series of meetings with him to finalise the party strategy and policy for the election drawing near. However today a preparatory meeting was held at Agartala Congress Bhawan, with MLA Gopal Ray as a chairman of the meeting and MLA Ratan Lal Nath remained present. Sinha further mentioned that Narayanswami is also scheduled to held a meeting at the ADC areas on his visit to state for two days.

Sinha said that he has already started organising meetings of party workers and leaders at Ward-level in civic bodies across the state. 'We have begun with Wards of civic bodies to revive the party and then we will turn our attention to the ADC ahead of its poll, drawing near.

However but it is mentionable here that a series of meetings under the leadership of PCC Chief Birajit Sinha has back tracked couple of leaders of the party with the opposition Leader Sudip Roy Barman and Working President Ashish Shah and others. And this has of course brought a major uproar among the section of leaders ahead of ADC election. Whereas the Congress Chief Birajit has been walking on his own way with an only policy and startegy to strenghten the party first and the rest later.

According to the political analysis, the so called startegy of Birajit might bring another major setback during the upcoming ADC election.
