SONAMURA, Nov 15 (TIWN): Resident of Sonamura, Babul Mia and his wife have been arrested by police in connection with secret arm stockings at their home. On Saturday police and BSF in a joint operation seized pistols along with bullets from Babul Mia’s home, at Bhugjur area, under Srimantapur panchayat in Sonamura subdivision.

Babul Mia and his wife Morshoda Begum both have been arrested by police. Initially the couple resisted arrest and developed a tussle with police. Police, however, arrested both. 

The motive of the illegal arm acquisition is under investigation and not known, yet. Police are investigating from every possible angle.
