AGARTALA, Nov 9 (TIWN): “If the tree was not there, what could have happened today, but fortunately, it (accident) escaped,” said Tripura former Forest Minister Naresh Jamatia who met with a terrible accident on Sunday.
The accident that happened in Bishramganj had narrowly escaped major consequences as the vehicle after losing control was almost ending up in a water body, but it got stuck with a thin plant there.
The former Minister acknowledged that due to the plant he survived from a major accident. Naresh Jamatia is fully stable and escaped all sorts of inuries.
According to Jamatia, he was coming from Agartala via Takarjala to Bishramganj for a political program in Jalaibari. His vehicle driver was trying to give a pass to an auto when it lost control and was about to fall into the water.
