AGARTALA, Oct 12 (TIWN): In a joint operation, Sonamura Police and Border Security Force (BSF) have recovered 150 mobile phones of various companies from the UNC Nagar border area under Sonamura police station.

The mobile phones were seized during a raid conducted by the joint team.

The police are yet to identify the owners of the recovered mobile phones and are investigating who brought these phones and for what purpose.

The authorities are probing the incident to determine whether the phones were being smuggled into the country or were part of a larger smuggling racket.
