AGARTALA, Oct 12 (TIWN): Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad Tripura Province Executive Council Meeting Held at Kumarghat.
The meeting of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) Tripura Province Provincial Executive Council and Provincial Working Committee was inaugurated by lighting of the lamp at the Priti Hall, Kumarghat. This important meeting was attended by Tripura Province Treasurer Shri Gaurang Biswas, National Minister Shri Kamlesh Singh, Provincial Secretary Shri Gaurav Das, Provincial Organization Secretary Shri Tushar Bhowmik and other elected special functionaries of the state.
National Secretary Shri Kamlesh Singh addressed a press conference before the meeting. He said, “Only elected workers are present in this meeting. We are and will continue to discuss various educational and social issues of the state. Especially, there is a need to discuss in depth the growing drug problem in the state. Besides, we want India to know Tripura more deeply, and Tripura to be more strongly integrated into the mainstream of India.”
In his speech, the Provincial Secretary Shri Gaurav Das highlighted some of the inequalities in the education system of the state. He said, “In many areas of Tripura, the teacher-student ratio is not right. We want these problems to be resolved quickly. A detailed idea will be taken about the improvement of the quality of TBSE Board and the local problems from the workers of each district, so that effective steps can be taken in the future.”
The Provincial Media Convener Shri Kaushik Debnath was also present at this press meet.
In this meeting of ABVP, detailed discussions were held on the improvement of the quality of education in different districts of the state, organizational development of students, national unity and anti-drug campaign. The main message of the organization was “Let a healthy and strong society be built on the three pillars of knowledge, unity and character.”
The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad said that a new action plan will be adopted for the development of the student community in Tripura in the coming years through this provincial meeting.
