AGARTALA, Sep 6 (TIWN): The Animal Resource Development Department, Government of Tripura, recently organized a financial assistance distribution program for animal husbandry farmers affected by the devastating floods in Kumaraghat block last year. The event was held at Nazrul Kalakshetra in Fatikroy and was attended by Minister Sudhangshu Das and other dignitaries.
The minister stated that the state government is committed to empowering animal husbandry farmers and improving their economic and social well-being. To achieve this goal, the government is providing various benefits to genuine animal farmers, including financial assistance, to increase egg and milk production in the state.
The financial aid provided to the flood-affected farmers is part of the government's efforts to support those who have suffered losses due to natural disasters.
