Kailashahar, February 10 (TIWN): Within the 72 hours of twin murder, in a gruesome incident, another body of a missing person was recovered at near Kamranga Bridge in Kailashahar sub-division here this morning. The deceased was identified as Selim Miah, resident of North Kumarghat, said police.

According to police Selim along with his car went missing on yesterday. His shoes and t-shirt were mysteriously recovered at Chontel adjacent to River Manu, last evening. As a result a search was conducted at River Manu and its adjacent areas with dog squad but police failed to trace him. 

Even, police could not recover the alto car bearing number TR02-G-2552. Failing to trace Selim, his father Benu Miah lodged a missing diary at the Kumarghat police station, last night.

On the other hand, three persons- Purabi Debnath, Numan Miah and Sarif Miah were booked yesterday in connection with twin murder, said police. They were produced before the CJM court and the court sent them to police remand till February 15.

The Kailashahar Bar Association today adopted a decision that no advocate of the Bar would move the case in favor of the culprits.

According to police, the duo was suspected to be killed following a dispute over ancestral property. Purabi Debnath is a sister of slain Pallab Debnath, who was killed on Saturday night.

Seeking severe punishment, Muharoy Association today conducted a protest rally and submitted a memorandum to the Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Kailasahar police station today.

It is worthy to mention here, as Anjan Deb, resident of Kalikapur and Pallab Debnath of Kajirgao were brutally murdered on Saturday night and their bodies were recovered adjacent to a bridge at Mohanpur under Kailasahar police station on Sunday.  

The three murders triggered fright among the people and resentment is brewing in the entire Kailashahar sub-division for last three days.
