Agartala, February 10 (TIWN): To mark the observance of Rotary Day and in an order to build a good human integration among the citizens of India and neighbouring country Bangladesh, Rotary Club of Agartala City (RID 3240) and Rotary Club of Bangladesh (RID 3282) would jointly stage a programme ‘Setubandhan’ at Rabindra Bhawan on February 11.

 This programme will be an international status which includes Rotary road rally in the Agartala City, organizing service projects through distribution of kinds to the poor people, conference and publication of souvenir , said Rotarian Ramesh Jain in a press conference at Agartala Press Club, here today.

The entire programme will be held in four phases. In the first phase, the road rally will be inaugurated by the Sports and Youth Affairs Minister- Sahid Chowdhury, he said.

Health and PWD Minister Badal Chowdhury would grace a seminar as chief guest in presence of other dignitaries in the second phase while Dy. Speaker of Tripura Assembly- Pabitra Kar, Mayor of AMC- Dr. Prafullajit Sinha and PDG Rotarian Md. Abdul Awa would attend the seminar as guests of honor and special guests respectively, added Jain.

He further said, the key note address will be delivered by the DGN Rotarian Sufi Mohammad Mizanur Rahman while Rotarian Ramesh Jain and Rotarian Abu Ajmal Pathan would grace the presidential dais.

During the conference the dignitaries would discuss the matters related with activities of Rotary between districts- RID 3240 (India) and RID 3282 (Bangladesh) and how the Rotary can help for development for both the districts in particular and two countries as a whole, said Jain.

In the conference ‘Setubandhan’, altogether 50 representatives of RID 3240 and over 250 delegates of RID 3282 are expected to be present, he added.
