Sabroom, Aug 3 (TIWN): Locals in Sabroom's Paschim Harina Babugram area have alleged corruption in the construction of a dam, claiming that the work was done in an unscientific and substandard manner. The dam was built under the supervision of the Executive Engineer.
The locals have alleged that the contractor, in collusion with the Technical Engineer, constructed the dam using substandard materials and unprofessional techniques, which may lead to its collapse during the monsoon season. They have also raised concerns about the department's failure to follow proper construction procedures.
The locals have appealed to the Chief Minister to take notice of the issue and ensure a thorough investigation into the matter.
