Agartala, July 5 (TIWN): The Charilam Brajpur area under the Bishalgarh police station is facing a surge in theft, leaving residents frustrated and demanding action. Recently, a group of thieves stole the wheels of a Bolero vehicle belonging to Litan Saha, valued at approximately 15,000 rupees. This incident is just one of many that have plagued the area in recent times.

Litan Saha's brother, Titon Saha, had a similar experience just a few days ago, where thieves stole the wheels of his Eco vehicle. The repeated incidents have raised concerns about the effectiveness of the police in addressing the residents' concerns.

The area's residents are not only worried about the theft but also about the presence of drug addicts who loiter around the streets, making it difficult for women and girls to move around freely.

The area has seen a rise in various types of theft, including stolen vehicle wheels, water pipeline theft, and even theft of rubber sheets and scrap materials from homes. The residents are demanding more effective policing and action to curb these incidents.

The community is calling on the authorities to take immediate action to address their concerns and ensure their safety. The residents hope that the police will take notice of the situation and work towards creating a safer environment for everyone.
