Tension Erupts in Udaipur Over Vandalism of Goddess Sheetala's Idol

Udaipur, July 3 (TIWN): A tense situation has unfolded in Tripura's Udaipur subdivision after a Sheetala Maa idol was vandalized at a temple in the Tatuyatila area.
A large contingent of police, including TSR and CRPF personnel, was deployed to the area to maintain law and order.
Additional Superintendent of Police Rishi Kesh Sethia and Sub-Divisional Police Officer Nirman Das were present at the scene, overseeing the situation.
Under police supervision, the damaged idol was immersed in water, and efforts are being made to prevent further escalation. The police have assured residents that they will take strict action against those found guilty of vandalism.
The situation is currently under control.
