AGARTALA, June 23 (TIWN): Lok Sabha MP Biplab Deb on Monday during a political rally in Kamalasagar in state Tripura, said, he visited Australia recently and observed the Australians' activities and what he discovered that they lack common sense.
"Recently, I was visiting Australia. I was keenly observing the people there.........how they behave, what they talk. One thing I observed is that they have better manners than us and also they are disciplined. They won't tell you lies, but what I felt is that they do not have common sense," said Deb.
Biplab Deb alleged that when he was at the Airport, he was forced to stand behind a hundred people's line, though he was almost missing his flight to India.
"I found everything was so mechanical. That thing I did not like !! My flight was to depart soon, but when I requested, they (Australians) did not let me get in. It was a situation that I had to wait in ha undred people's line, and by the time my number would come, the flight would reach India. So that thing I did not like, and that's what I like about my country," added Deb.
"They are rich but do not have common sense," said Deb.
