AGARTALA, May 29 (TIWN): Tripura Teachers Eligibility Test candidates made another futile attempt to meet TRBT Chairman Pratyush Deb on Thursday, as they were directed to appeal online with their queries, which they had already done, but no satisfactory responses came.

“Online application takes Rs. 500 per question, which we are already doing, but in the online process, we can not discuss an issue. Every time we come here to meet the chairman, we return without any positive response,” said a job aspirant who was among the candidates trying to meet the TRBT chairman.

It was alleged that a total of 40 questions were either wrong or out of the syllabus. Some of the questions had double answers listed in the multiple choice, but still, they were not allowed to discuss the issue with the authority.

The TET examination was held on April 27, and out of 150 marks, 40 questions were challenged by the candidates. The costly review process failed to satisfy the questions.

Earlier, the candidates said that the answer key in 2025 for one question differs from 2022, which is bizarre, but they are left with no other option than to appeal online.

“So many times we tried to meet the chairman. We are appealing online, but we still want to meet him, but TRBT is not ready to cooperate with us at all,” said a candidate. “He strictly said he can not talk to us. What is our fault? We are totally failing to place our issue before him, and every time we are returned.”
