AGARTALA, May 26 (TIWN): Fishery college undergraduate students staged protest in Mohanpur SDPO office after a student was hit by a vehicle near the college premises.
The injured student Lingaraj Patra is now in critical condition.
Lingaraj’s friends blocked the road and gheraoed SDPO Mohanpur office, demanding the arrest of the driver and the safety of the students.
The accident happened on May 20, but as no action was taken against the driver yet, the students staged the protest.
