AGARTALA, May 26 (TIWN): Bokul Bora (40), S/O-Late Putul Bora was arrested from Agartala for allegedly raping a 14-year-old minor girl in Bishramganj brick factory area.

Bokul Bora is a migrant worker from Assam, Golaghat.

On May 25, a case was lodged in Bishramganj PS by victim's family accusing Bokul Bora of raping the minor. After the investigation, police led by OC-Subimal Debnath arrested Bokul Bora.

The case was registered 11/2025, U/S- 65 (1)/87 of BNS and section 4 of POCSO Act, and on Monday, the accused was produced before the court.
