AGARTALA, May 13 (TIWN): Teliamura police arrested Tajul Islam Mia (39) for anti-national remarks on social media.

What was his exact post, it could not be known yet but police said his post was against India.

Tajul Islam Mia was arrested from the Jaruilong Bari area under Maharanipur after Teliamura police was asked by higher authority to take action against him.

His post also insulted Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Police are now interrogating him thoroughly to find the reason and motive behind such a social media post.
