AGARTALA, May 12 (TIWN): Addressing International Nurses Day at Rabindra Bhawan in Agartala, Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha expressed concerns for medical staff who face rough situations in hospitals often and are harassed by people. “The medical staff work day and night, and they work hard for the people. Nobody thinks about them, but unfortunately, when something goes wrong, it might be a petty mistake, then hostile reactions come from the mob,” said CM.
“So many patients are being cured due to the medical staffs’ service, but if there is any minor mistake, then all together come against them,” said CM.
“On the other hand, the oppositions just wait for such incidents. They also should think about the hardworking medical staff,” said CM. “Of course, negligence happens, and we do not tolerate that type of attitude at all.”
