AGARTALA, May 7 (TIWN): Mahim Chakma who attacked former Bank Manager and his family in Nagichara has been detected now as a Bangladeshi, was illegally living in Shilachari.

On May 5, former Bank Manager Jewel’s entire family was attacked after night 11 PM including his wife and son.

Police started an investigation in this case, and the accused Mahim Chakma was on police’s radar while absconding.

He was arrested from Badharghat area and after interrogation, it was known Mahim Chakma, S/O-Sunil Chakma is actually a resident of Bangladesh Khagrachari.

Mahim has been produced before the court and police said, all necessary actions will be taken against him as per law.
